Build your – Custom Gym Cable

Once you have taken notice of the routing remove any attachments on the cable that will stop you from pulling the cable from the machine, you may have to remove pullies if attachments cannot be removed. NOTE: Before removing the cable from the machine observe any dangers that may arise if the cable tension is removed. If the cable has been broken and full length cannot be achieved because the cable is distorted or lost, a length of string routed where the cable was can be used to achieve the cable length, care and thought should be taken when using this method as a last resort to find the cable length. Once cable has been removed lay it out on a flat surface holding the cable taut measuring the length in millimeters using the below diagram as a guide. Note: with ball stopper ends its important to measure inside as shown below.
